its been totally pouring with rain since yesterday evening. its so depressing. it was particularly heavy last night when i was going out. walked out in hoodie, jacket, boots, jeans. by the time i got to the bus stop my hood was soaked and my jacket was dripping. the water had even seeped thru the jacket to soak the hoodie. it was ridiculous. and my jeans were dual-coloured. front half was dark from the water. back half was completely dry. met up with Keith n we went to have dinner at Tamatanga. coz we had a 2 for 1 coupon. all thanks to all the cinema visits. note to anyone who watches movies at Cornerhouse, check the back of ur ticket stubs. most of the time they have that coupon. and Tamatanga is really good. the food’s quite fresh too. only drawback is they seat u at tables with other randoms. but the tables are big enough that you don’t actually get overheard when u have a conversation. if u’re quiet enough of course. should be good for parties. good indian food.

after dinner we went up to the cinema. we watched…… *drumroll*…… A Christmas Carol in 3D!

yes yes, as ppl have been telling me, its November and still quite far from Christmas, but still! it was quite a good movie. a tad more disturbing than i expected tho. coz i’m more used to the Disney Scrooge McDuck and Mickey Mouse version. where its for little kids and everything’s all cutesy and funny. this one actually followed Charles Dickens’ version more closely i reckon. altho i really havent read the actual story. but still, dark and scary elements were there. if you were Ebenezer Scrooge i reckon you’d probably be scared into being a loving caring person too. Jim Carrey is a major element of this film too. he voices all the Ebenezers (of course) and also all 3 Spirits of Christmas. Colin Firth is in this one too. he voices Ebenezer’s only nephew, Fred.

its a good movie n something i’d definitely recommend anyone to watch.

its dark already here in Nottingham. the ridiculousness of it all. i miss the sun
