work was the usual today… nothing much to tell… spoke to Chris a lot today. Ping Ting was on allocation. turns out Chris n I share a lot of things. both went to SKBB, both lived (live in my case) in Terasek area, went to SMBB, both attend SFX, etc. damn small world man.
left work at 6pm today. coz stayed to do work that was given to us. but Chris had to leave early so i stayed to finish up.

i just got home. and i am beyond exhausted. i swear. its not funny. i am just so dead…
i am so beyond exhausted… really… slept at 2am last nite. woke up at 7am this morning. left the hse at 8am. dad dropped me off. met up with the HR lady, Ms Tan and she walked me thru the whole induction stuff. then she left me with the secretary in my dept. then basically started my first day. met the other interns. there are only 2 other interns in my dept. well, we call interns Vacation Trainees or VTs in KPMG. so yea. i’m a junior VT. coz i came in later. they’re really nice. we went for Sushi Zanmai for lunch at One Utama with some of the other VTs. then continued my work. left at 5.30pm.
got home, showered, and Isaac came to pick me up. we went to Ali Baba next to Ampang Point to meet Elizabeth, her bf Ashton, and Koji! major Notts meet up. haha! left there around 10ish pm. then came back to Bangsar. met up with Logann (NEPHEWWWWW!!!!) and Alyshea, Nadia and Arafat. hung out at La Bodega for a while then Logann walked me home. on the way, Isaac went to join Mou Huang, Stephanie and Elena at Devi’s. stopped by to talk to them for a while then continued. and saw Raymond Tee at that Mango place!!! damn shocking man. didnt expect to see him at all. then came home.
now, gonna take a shower then sleep. nitesssss…

yesterday, went to KLCC with the mother. finally bought my work shoes. and also another skirt for work. then we met up with my brother n dad for dim sum lunch at Marco Polo restaurant. not bad. quite good food. then we drove home so my mom could drop her car off. then we went to Digital Mall. bought my new laptop cooler and a mini tripod for my camera. brother got a new camera. and when we got home, showered, dressed, then me, mom n dad went to church. after church, went for dinner at Pudu. yummy teo chew rice. yummy!
today, went for Sushi Zanmai in Gardens with brother n mommy. yummy

so my mom calls up University Hospital and they tell her my results were negative! so i am totally free of the H1N1 virus otherwise known as swine flu!! wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!! so i immediately text sith asking her if she wants to go out and she said yes! so me, her n Vinod meet up at nirwana maju. we hung out from like 9 to 12. and we fed some poor stray kitties milk. one was really badly injured. damn poor thing. then we went home. and tmw i’m going out with the family. KLCC, One Utama, Marco Polo (dim sum! YUM!) then Digital Mall and church. then for dinner, Pudu!!! teochew!! yummy!!! then then then on Sunday, most probably Hartamas for dinner with Sith n the rest. YAY!!! last day of freedom b4 i start my internship.

short update ahead
woke up at 10.30am today. at 12pm, Desmond Chin came to fetch me. we went to Midvalley/Gardens. had Char Kuey Teow at Little Penang. he had the Home-Style Lam Mee. and i also had cendol!!! yummy shit man. then we walk walk walk for a few more hours thru Midvalley/Gardens. then went to Bangsar. Bangsar Village n just generally Bangsar. walk walk, Starbucks, and i met Sheu’s mom n sister Sheu Quen at BV1.
then he dropped me at home around 7 i think.

yesterday, went for Yo! Sushi with the mother at Midvalley/Gardens. it was goooooddddddd…. yummy sushi. brother wants to take me for Sushi Zanmai soon tho. then we went shopping a lil. looking for some closed toed shoes (ugliest ever aside from crocs). all expensive or ugly. sigh… and i absolutely loath shoe shopping with a passion. its the last thing on my to-do list along with shopping for bags. yes i noe. i’m a weird girl. then came home at 5pm. at 6.45pm, mom drove me to Euro Deli in Damansara Kim for my darling Dimbo’s bday celebration dinner. yay!!! got to see Dimbo at last!!!
service at Euro Deli is HORRIBLE. i swear i will nvr go back there again. i ordered curry wurst. and it only arrived after asking the waitress to check 3-5 times and steadily getting angrier each time and after everyone had finished eating their dinner. i swear if i could hit them i would have hit them (waiters n waitresses). then we sat around chatting for a while and when Dimbo went to pay the bill, the cute guy who works there started talking to him. Boon. thats his name. hahaha! Dimbo was so happy. hahahaha! so of course we all started taking the piss
after dinner we all left. Agnes, Loong, Dimbo, me n Jing Shern drove to Agnes’s hse. coz darling Dimbo wanted to change. haha! then we left for clubbing at around 11.30pm. went to Cynna on Heritage Row. it was an alright club la. full of ppl i didnt like to see at clubs but oh well… sigh… music was alright. the DJ refused to play Single Ladies no matter how many times we requested tho. bastard. talked to Jing Shern a lot. coz most of the ppl in our party were couples. only me, Jing Shern, Mund and Helena were single. hahaha! and we got Dimbo high!!! yay!!!! hahahaha! hilarious boy. left at 2.30-3am. arrived home at nearly 4am.

then today i went for Yong Tau Foo in Ampang with the mom n the brother. then we went to Pavilion to look for shoes again. which again, i did with a heavy heart. i wanna just go to work barefoot. or in my slippers. haih…

hello people!!! Ashley has finally landed in Msia!!! WHEEEEEE!!!!!! i’m HOME!!!! flight was quite alright. couldnt really sleep. and was sitting next to this lady with the most adorable and pretty and well behaved baby i’ve met. and the baby was a twin. her twin was with a relative in another seat tho. but she was soooooooo cute. she fell out of the baby ‘basket’ thingy they strap onto the wall tho. and fell directly onto my lap. shocked the hell out of me. luckily she didnt fall on the floor.
just came home. went for dinner at Devi’s with my mom, aunt n bro. dad went fishing. had roti canai and maggie goreng and 2 milo ais. then treated my family to starbucks

went for dim sum at New Ocean City with Desmond, Ching and Patrick. met up with Aaron n Joanne there. after lunch we went to the city. i managed to find some shorts at New Look. 2 for 18 pounds thanks to student discount. then bought some La Senza pjs. 2 for 1! of course i’ll buy la! so i paid 18 for two sets. one that says “Its a girl thing” and another that says “Love to be Naughty”. damn cute. haha! we walked around then Aaron, Patrick n Ching went home. Jo met up with her friend n me n Des went for dinner with his friend Calvin n his gf Rachel at Dancing Dragon. the ever generous boy paid for dinner. then we walked back. he fell asleep. gonna watch Mulan when he wakes up.

Des came over again. studyyyyyy!!!! he fell asleep for a bit on my bed tho. funny fella. ask him if he wanna study in the kitchen coz got table oso duwan. haih. woke him up then went down to cook dinner. spaghetti!! yummy. we chatted after dinner for a bit then continued studying. studied in the kitchen. he just went back a while ago. shit i’m tired… sigh… gotta sleep early tmw nite. bloody f-ing 9am paper…

parents called. dad’s got tonsillitis. brother has exam tmw too. final a levels exams. i miss my brother. then Des came over at around 5pm. studied then at around 6pm i cooked us dinner. been a while since i cooked such a good meal :p chicken curry n scrambled eggs n fried spinach with mushrooms. then we continued studying. he just went back. our AIS and IE assignment results are out. should b collecting them tmw. fingers crossed. and fingers definitely crossed for AIS exam tmw.
i cant wait till these damn exams are over…

heartbreak, hurt, disappointment, sadness.
all the ugly sides of any relationship when looking for love.
by experiencing all this u’re growing. it hurts but at least its an experience. you noe what it feels like to be hurt. and u have to endure so much disappointment and sadness that when u finally meet the right person and u have ur happiness n love it’ll really feel worth it. coz its like you’ve been fighting for it tooth and nail. and the best things in life are always the ones you fought the hardest for right? you’ve gotta kiss a lot of frogs to find you prince. pain will always heal. all it needs is time. for every happy ending there will always be disappointment and hurt and difficulties in the path leading to it.
if you think pessimistic thoughts, those thoughts will eventually come true. there is a lot to be said for optimistic thinking.

today was the last lecture for the 2nd year of Finance, Accounting and Management. AIS lecture. feels kinda sad. and scary. coz exams are in less than 2 weeks now. shittttt…. in a few mths i’ll start my 3rd year man. damnit. i graduate next yr. my brother will only b starting uni this yr. i feel so old…
after the lecture i borrowed daniel’s comp finance notes to photocopy. coz i missed the final 2 lectures. n the man doesnt put his slides up on Nexus. which is annoying. wah i was waiting to use the machine for 15-20 bloody minutes. this girl was photocopying some stuff out of the book. looked like she was photocopying the whole damn thing. HAIYO WOMAN. after that went to dan’s room to pass him his notes back while he gave me my AIS notes back. then we went to the undergraduate office. coz we both wont b around when our results get released so we need to let the office noe.
for some odd reason my ribs have been killing me… n they’re really really tender to the touch. sighhhhh…
